A Case Study in Neural Network Evolution

Abstract

In this paper a concept of evolution of a neural network in the state space is presented. This evolution may be considered as another dimension of automated discoveries. As a base for building a model well known Evans' line method is used. It was noticed, that this concept can be developed in the direction of stochastic and heuristic tree structures. A numerical example is presented.
