Computing equilibria in economic models with infinitely many agents
903
Abstract
Two economic models (typical in the
class of models reducing to large games), of household economy and of labour
market, involving infinitely many agents are briefly presented along with a
method to reduce the search for their equilibria to a mathematical
optimization problem. Programs to solve these problems are presented and
specific numerical examples follow.
Key words: equilibrium, household production, labour
market, infinite population
