Generation of 3D object views for visual identification system

Abstract

3D model (of 3D object) is the most general and complete description of an object. It defines a space occupied by the object, it doesn't depend on a view point and in the case of a view representation it allows to calculate the view from any pointof view and with any precision.

In this paper we submit the methods of 3D representation of the model which can be used in the visual recognition systems. We also present a new approach and an algorithm which generates the views of convex polyhedron. It is based on the conception of the view sphere.
